This is a lovely restaurant with kind and prompt service. I got the pork and potatoes while my daughter got the paprika mushrooms. Delicious! Women's restroom was also modern and clean.

We enjoyed the food and the conversation. We are learning more about our Hungarian background. It was a great experience here. Anytime we are back in PA, we will be eating here. Make sure to make a reservation if your group is on the larger size. Great place! Great food!

Wonderful experience. The owner sat and talked with me about her recent adventures in Hungary, the war , and our hopes for the future. She explained that they have a chef they brought from Hungary in order to have the most authentic dishes. I was just in Budapest less than a month ago and I can confirm that the cuisine from Huszar is spot-on in taste, texture, and quality as the top restaurants in Budapest. This restaurant is a true gem and I highly recommend to anyone who wishes to have an authentic taste of Hungary.

What a pleasant surprise!! So glad our search for a Pittsburgh restaurant brought us to Huszar. Quaint and unique with super delicious homemade food. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Reasonable prices, large portions and friendly service… A must try!! 💕

Where is the best place to park to get there that's easy for someone who doesn't normally drive in Pittsburgh?

Driving "normally" in Pittsburgh isn't possible for anyone... That said, if one stands facing the restaurant, look to the left. Down the street and across it is the restaurant's own lot. It's only about a block away.
