This management company is the worst. They don't answer the phone or return calls as you can never get a live person on the phone. I'm not happy with the management at my complex either. Very pick and choose with whom they're nice to or help.

VPM and it's staff have continued to constantly lie to me regarding issues with their Jeffrey Court Senior Apartment Complex in Highland, Ca. 92346 over the past 10 years. My Apt. #189 was flooded on January 24 and the restoration work is less than 1/3 complete as of February 16th yet I was initially scheduled to move back on February 8th.

The worst property management company I've ever worked with. They make it ridiculously difficult to get rent payments to them. Won't accept payment at the site. Won't allow debit card or electrical bank payments unless you go through a rip-off PayLease 3rd party vendor who charges you to use their service. I am a retired senior citizen who gets her SS check on the 3rd of that month, so I can't send the money to them for my rent until the 3rd and because they don't accept electronic payments on the same day, my bank has to mail them a check which means it will be considered "late" by the company and they'll tack on an extra $40 to your rent. I was told there was a "grace period" to get the checks to them, and then told there wasn't after I got dinged with a late charge. No one answers their phone so you can't talk to anyone to discuss these matters. I highly DO NOT recommend doing business with this company.

Very disappointed. This is not a true 55+ community as they want you to believe. When I spoke to corporate office about residents under the required age, first I was asked "do you have apartment numbers?", then I was told when VPM acquired the building there were people who were "grandfathered in". How is it that young adults are grandfathered in when you have an age requirement? And why are you (VPM) not telling prospective renters upfront about this BEFORE they sign a lease and so they can decide if they still want to sign a lease?? Rules are not enforced. I've seen more young kids in the pool than 55+ residents and with toys which the pool rules state are not allowed. There's never anyone to enforce the rules. I will definitely NOT be renewing my lease and if I could get out of it I'd get out NOW!!!!! Horrendously disappointed!!! 55+ individuals beware!!!!! August 27 - And the lousy attention to detail in enforcing rules continues! Today a tenant's guest came to my apartment to "tell" me not to tap on the ceiling which I had to do because the noise was so excessive from apartment above. Pounding and jumping. Come to find out it's a visiting toddler and that's supposed to be okay for the person who pays $1700 a month to live here! No management around to talk to the rude tenant and guest who was a foul mouthed know it all. VPM is a lousy management company and they are liars just like the other reviews have said. Money hungry loafers!

This company is a SLUM LORD company. The units are not functional , manment is discriminatory and threatening to renters. Nothing is ever fixed that does not function, including : sink draining, light fixturs, garbage disposals and many other necessary functional needs. And residents are not allowed to use the activity rooms and my unit stays at 95 degrees day and night during heat speels scan with cooling fans going day and night.
