Have lived at Brookshore Apartments for over 12 years, and the management and staff have always been friendly, considerate, and timely. Maintenance is always friendly and on time and repairs are made quick. The apartments are super clean and spacious! Would definitely recommend Brookshore!

AMAZING!!!!!! We moved here from NJ and we struck gold choosing Brookshore Apartments! The owner Tamryn and her assistant manager, Michelle, are the most honest, funny and coolest people we have ever met. The application process was extremely easy and we got approved over the phone the same day we applied! The apartment we moved into is a snazzy loft style with beautiful floors, spacious backyard, spacious bedrooms, and a huge kitchen!! Not only do we feel safe living here but we always feel welcomed by the amazing staff. This should be your top choice when hunting for a new apartment!

Do not rent from Brookshore, the owner (Tamryn) is very dishonest. We were called to meet with her to "review" our application, then we had to walk her through every step of our application (which is what I thought we paid $40 for...). We were then denied because my husband forgot to put a misdemeanor on his record that he had from 5 years ago, which, as the owner herself noted, would not disqualify him from renting from Brookshore. She said that he "falsified" his background, therefore she could deny us, even though the record itself was not a disqualifying event. The application specifically states that they will search your record for offenses that would disqualify you from renting. Furthermore, I was upset that she took 2 hours out of my workday, and my husband works graveyard and had to get up and drive 1/2 hour each way to meet with her. If she was going to reject us for this, she could have saved us time and money and done it over the phone. Then, she sent an "adverse action letter" stating that she denied us for our credit ratings (which she specifically said in person would NOT disqualify us). After I asked her to state in an e-mail what we were rejected for, she sent an "amended" adverse action letter, adding my husband's criminal history as a reason for denial (even though the misdemeanor itself did not disqualify us from renting!!). She refuses to state in an e-mail what was said in our in-person meeting, and refuses to refund our application money after wasting our time and energy. Both of these are ridiculous anyway, since we were approved to sign a lease at Lexington Park, which is both nicer and more expensive. I would think that if they were worried about my husband's record or credit, a place like that would have turned him down. Don't rent from her, she is dishonest and is in the business of collecting application money, not renting out homes. If you do choose to meet with her, take audio or video of the meeting, she is not to be trusted.

Advice. Don't rent from these people. Was on a month to month for a year gave a 30 day notice for me and roommate to move out. Gave keys back and cleaned place. They still charged us next month's rent and kept deposit. They then mailed us bills to our address at brookshore even tho we don't live there and they had forwarding address. We didn't find out about this until we got phone calls from collections
