Christian ideal are not upheld by this Church. Otherwise they wouldn't invite Tucker Carlson who is defending actions of Russian president. Do you not have any empathy for the innocent women and children killed in cold blood in Ukraine?

Of all the churches I have had the pleasure of attending, there is no other services I would be interested in without the Kellogg family giving the sermons. When I first started going here, for about the first 2 months, I would cry every time I attended, it would begin with worship with Ross Kellogg and his wife Falake would join in the afternoons as well. The sermons just seemed to be pointed at my situations. I felt the Holy Spirit grab me and take hold of my belief and gave me hope. I was babtised on my daughter's birthday June 1st. 2019. My best friend and her mother, Jenny and Barb have been going for about 6-7 yrs now. I wouldn't even have known about this family if it weren't for them. And thank Reese and the members of the prayer chain for praying over me and my son. It also gives me hope and courage to stay strong. So thank you Awaken for being my strength and guiding me to my higher power.

I believe someone else wrote about this, but I also felt an atmosphere of shame at this church. I had gone to this place for a while until I finally got the courage to leave. It started out as something fresh and new, with friendly people and what I felt was the presence of God. After several months here I started to notice a pattern of rumors and hypocrisy. When I left the church, they began to tell rumors about me and my family. All of our "friends" would not talk to us anymore. I noticed them talk negatively about other families while I was there. They even talked negatively about other churches in the Valley too, even though they share one common goal! They would often use young adults as free labor, and sometimes even tell them that one of their parents possessed a demonic spirit, and that they needed to move out and get rid of all of their belongings and only then could they serve God fully. Whether it was yelling or crying every service, it felt more like a show to me than it should have. I still cannot forgive them for what they did to my family. That part will take some time. For now, I just strongly recommend that you either do not go here, or you go to a service and at least know what red flags to look for.
