Needed the restroom before shopping, yet an employee told me to "just hold it." Exceptionally poor customer service!

I walk in “Sir, masks are required.” the poor clerk has to tell me. “Sorry, I don’t have one. And I’m pretty sure nobody really cares. Can I just go get a bat and glove?” I reply. “Let me call my manager…. No, I’m sorry you have to wear a mask. You can buy one.” Wow, way to go Big 5! Spent my money elsewhere. Later went to Michael’s where they offered masks for free and candy canes. This is just another reason why you’ll be out of business in 5 years or less. Never shopping at a Big5 again.
