WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN CLACKAMAS The week I moved in they changed management and our rent was raised without warning. They dont care about your needs. The pool on cite is not avalible to you. I live on the bottom floor and one day our lights flooded from water from the room above us. Not only was this building a product of rushed development, but you will be reminded of that every day. They ignor all noise complaints so feel free to be as loud as you want. The parking is awful, and be prepared for others parking in your spot daily. They say it is enforced by towing, but they will wait three days before they call anybody. They are raising the rates in the next three months but have done nothing to justify it. They will gouge you for all your worth. If you enjoy hearing children scream all hours of the day, then have no fear, the walls are paper thin and you will be able to hear all the domestic disputes around you. One month i didnt drive my car at all and they charged me extra for "Not moving my car" FROM MY OWN PARKING SPOT, THAT I PAY FOR. Ive lived in some pretty gruby places, and I asure you, the sleek 22nd centery design is a facade. This is a house of cards simply made to make money as fast as possible. The Elwood is the worst place ive lived, and I've lived in Rockwood, OR. So that should show that this place is truley not worth your money.

$$$ is the bottom line. Just another cooperate run entity that is only interested in squeezing money out of you. Had a 6 month lease while having a home built, stayed for the full term of the lease, informed the management that we would not be signing another lease and moving out. In the mix they asked for a form to be filled out and we missed it somehow and now they want a whole month of rent even though we vacated, and paid all months in full. A minor clerical error and they want us to pay them a full month's rent. Besides this, for a majority of my time there the hallways were filthy, parking is a disaster, there's only AC in the front room (think hotel style). These are not "luxury" apartments, they are over priced cooperate hype. GO RENT ELSEWHERE.

I've been living here for the past 3 months. During that time, someone else parked in my parking space 5 different times. One time a car was parked there for 4 days. Each time I reported the incident to the managing staff, but no concrete steps were taken to resolve the situation. There are no signs for the guest parking and no enforcement for parking violators. This is a follow-up to the previous review above. Since my last review above, a new management company, Avenue5 took over the management duty. Before they took over the management, my experience with formal management was less than satisfactory...say the list. When I first moved in, I had multiples issues with the water heater and heater fans in the bedrooms. I made multiple inquires and request to resolve the issues and I had a "zero" response from them. I ended up fixing the issues myself by watching an instruction from YouTube. The parking issue was the last issue that triggered me to put my review on Google. Since Avenue5 took over the management duty, the way they've been handling each situation has been impressive. I am most appreciative of how quickly they respond to my inquiries.
