Absolutely!! They helped my 9 year old son!! He was born with bilateral clubbed feet!! He didn't start walking til he was almost 2 years old!! If it weren't for Shriners Hospital he'd still be having surgeries on both of his feet!!!!!! He seen Dr. Haluk Altiok, he's a really good doctor!!!!

Shriners Hospitals provides care and services for children up to age 18 regardless of a family’s ability to pay for conditions we treat in orthopaedics, cleft lip and palate, plastic surgery, spinal cord injury and physical rehabilitation services. To make an appointment call 773-385-KIDS (5437).

At Shriners Hospitals for Children — Chicago there are no barriers to care. Doctors determine the course of care, and all care is provided regardless of the families' ability to pay. The Chicago Shriners Hospital accepts many types of insurance, including Medicaid. If the child is covered by private insurance or a state funding plan, the hospital will bill and accept reimbursement for services provided at our hospital. Any child under 18 with a medical condition that is within the hospital’s scope of services is eligible. Yes. We have a headshape clinic and a Starscanner to accurately measure and track headshape if correction is needed with a helmet. You have the option to select our in house prostetics and orthotics service (POPS) for a helmet if one is necessary.
