We love living here at the Douglass/StoneHorse duplexes! Very quiet, the grounds are well kept, clean, and security is always driving around. The duplexes are new, well-built, and nicely detailed. The staff are very attentive and keep the place running efficiently and smoothly. We have lived here for 2 years and our experience has been nothing short of excellent! We have rented in many places and this place has been the best!

Rented at The Reserve at Shelly Lake in Spokane Valley. Staff there is great, but now I’m realizing when they read the contract for you they leave details out. Because we did everything we were told we are allowed to do and now we’re being charged for it because it was in the contract that was not read thoroughly. They tell you the contract is electronic, so make sure you receive a hard copy for every renewal and geez even go as far to record your conversations in person and over the phone. They profit off your $600 deposit/redo rating fee and don’t even use it to do so. $600 basically covers nail holes and nothing else. At least be upfront about what the outrageous $600 really covers and don’t be giving people the on to use things such as drywall hooks if you intend to charge. These property owners are total crooks, but they will get you legally because “it’s in your contract” and you can’t prove what they told you in person unless you recorded. You’ll have to go to great lengths to avoid any charges, doubt there is any way.

When I first moved in here a year ago I thought the staff was fantastic. In the past month-and-a-half I have had more problems with this rental office than I've ever had in my entire life. There seems to have been a shift and staff they have become rude obnoxious and disrespectful. They have threatened to tow their own tenants when they were properly parked just because both cars were in the lot and one was not in their garage. Their maintenance is substandard and today was the last straw. I spoke with someone at the office. She was so incredibly rude it was unbelievable and I believe that they have become this way because I complained to the main property management office over the recent situation where they were tagging and Towing vehicles randomly and without notice . So now not only do I have to deal with poor maintenance but I have to deal with harassment from the rental office as well. We have a large overhead light in our kitchen it is a halogen light that has a cap on it. They are refusing to tell me what type of bulb is in the kitchen and they're refusing to change it out for me. I have to go purchase a light myself and when they get around to it they will stop by and replace it. Completely unacceptable and I will never recommend this property to anybody else. If you are considering it i -it looks nice on the surface but I would suggest to go elsewhere ...anywhere else other than a Douglas property
