For the short amount of time that I was a resident at Altura, it was the best experience. Very pet friendly and the management loved my dogs and loved interacting with them myself. Couldn't have had a better apartment to live in.

Lived in these apartments for about a year and a half. The staff working there were great, my issues are with the move out. Don't bother cleaning your apartment when you move. My husband and I spent a whole day before move out making sure that place was spotless, and we still got charges equaling the whole deposit. Seems impossible that what got us our whole deposit back from an apartment we lived in longer in Seattle, makes us owe in Spokane. What a scam.

We moved to Spokane from out-of-state without getting to see Altura in person, but we could not be happier with our choice! My husband and I have now lived here for almost 2 years with no problems at all. The price is totally unbeatable for the area. Living two blocks from Riverfront Park and the Centennial trail is absolutely amazing! The apartments are large (especially the living rooms), and even though they were built in the 70’s they are well-kept. Maintenance requests are handled very quickly as well. There are no washers or dryers in the units, but the laundry room is really nice and I rarely have any trouble with not having a machine available when I need it. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They make it a joy to live here! We also enjoy the other tenants. People of all ages live here and everyone has been super kind. We rarely hear our neighbors through the walls/ceiling, but we do hear people in the hallways outside our door - it doesn’t bother us though. Our nextdoor neighbor says she never hears our baby, so you know the walls are pretty soundproof! One thing to note is that you can only park one car in the parking lot. There is always plenty of parking available though. If you have a second car you will need to park it on the street. During the day the street parking is very full but in the evenings and on weekends there is a lot of space for you and your visitors to park. However, you can’t leave your car in the same spot on the street for more than 24 hours or you will get ticketed. Overall we have loved living here and would highly recommend it!!

The location is great and the staff is amazing. Amy, the apartment manager, is awesome and seems to have a great relationship with the other tenants. I've overheard on multiple occasions other residents talk about how awesome she and Steve (the maintenance guy) are to potential renters who were checking the place out, so I know it's not just my opinion. The staff brings a very cozy, family-like feel to the Chateaux which is very uncommon in the world of apartment living.
