Though mailboxes get broken into frequently (& garages & storage closets) they haven't added any security cameras to catch who is doing it. I have had gift cards and mail that has never made it to me. We pay a lot in rent and yet not even a simple camera system is installed to help out renters. This is wrong.

DO NOT RENT HERE! Please do not ignore all the red flag reviews of us past tenants that have had the same issues. (And the canned management responses...) Tenants were taken advantage of during COVID, rent on my one bedroom apartment (outdated, carpet in the kitchen, etc.) went from $1,075 to over $1,800/month. Speaking with other tenants, it seemed the longer you lived there the more your rent was increased hoping to force you to stay and pay the higher rent. At move I was charged over $950 in pre-paid cleaning fees. The office manager told me these covers everything and I wouldn't have to do any cleaning. Still, at move out I detailed my apartment and had it professionally steam cleaned, and the carpets shampooed and was still charged an additional bill. I moved out August 2021 and received a bill March 2022 (7 months later; RCW 59.18. 280 says 21 day is how long they have; they don’t charge a deposit, they charge “fees” which is how they skirt the law on this). The bill lists vague items with no descriptions of what the charges are for. I was unable to refute these charges because I refused a walkthrough of my apartment “due to COVID”. This did not make sense since two weeks before my moveout maintenance came over to look for any damaged items needing to be ordered. The maintenance crew even said that it was the cleanest apartment move out he had seen. Essentially, I paid over $1,200 in cleaning fees for an apartment that was spotless at moveout. The office staff is very nice and the outside grounds are well kept for the most part. The issue is with the upper management who takes advantage of you at move out. You will notice that all the positive reviews are from current tenant, but please learn from my experience and do no rent here as it will cost you down the road!

They will charge you when you move in and when you move out. We paid nearly $1,000 in non-refundable fees when we moved in including pet fees, which includes the cost of carpet cleaning when you move out. About 6 weeks after we moved out we got a bill for “extra carpet cleaning” of $100 - our carpet was spotless and did not smell. They also charged us for a screen replacement for a window we never even opened. This was all after a walkthrough with one of their maintenance staff that they recommend doing before you turn in keys and he said the apartment looked great, was very clean and to expect no charges. They advertise ample parking - this is not the case. There were several instances when I had to park 2 buildings away or even on the other side of the courtyard, as we already parked one car in our assigned garage. Noise level- you hear everything your neighbors are doing especially if they decide it’s appropriate to use a subwoofer even after repeated complaints.

If you love 35% rent increases, tired apartments and appliances that barely work this is the place for you. The only saving grace is the location. Be careful though, your garage will be broken into repeatedly. The management will merely shrug their shoulders at the excessive break ends and tell you not to keep anything of value in your garage.
