I used to really like this place. I didn't visit all winter, and only started going again in the last month or two, and every time I've been really disappointed. Their potatoes used to be creamy and delicious, but now they're served cold, dry, and bland. The elk meatloaf used to be tasty meat, but now it's spiced to hell and back and you can't even taste the meat. I'd never had the trout before, but it was bland (although well cooked). The vegetables on the side have consistently been WAY over-peppered for no reason, so the point where you can barely taste them past the pepper. The steak was great, but it comes with the inedible potatoes and vegetables on the side. I don't know if they changed chefs earlier this year or what, but the food these days is barely edible. This used to be my go-too place for great food to treat myself, but nowadays I literally get better food at McDonalds. I don't know what happened.

This is where my man and I had our very first date almost 2 years ago. 💜 We've been here a few times when we get out that way and we've never been disappointed, we love coming here. The family really enjoys it as well. The food is absolutely delicious, the burgers are very filling and oh so good! We love the atmosphere and there's a fairly decent selection of drinks. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the great service and delicious food, we will be back... again!

WITH ONLY THREE DAYS LEFT: ... I finally managed to re-work my schedule and make it back out to the Westwood Brewing Co. - this time, to order from their October Special Menu which has been calling my name for weeks now! I decided on deep fried pickles as an appetizer which isn't just one of the October Specials but a must order, anytime you hit this spot! For drinks I started out with an Apple Butter Mule (which was delicious!) and then ordered a Maple Old Fashioned with my Harvest Bison Burger and Garlic Parmesan fries... Everything was phenomenal, if you haven't been to this spot you should definitely find some time to make it happen!! **Don't forget to look around and acknowledge the preservation of this really cool old bank - turned brewery - with great food, unique drinks, and an even better nostalgic vibe for those who love historic buildings and the concept of repurposing them as new establishments while keeping as much of the original history as possible!!
