I took an old rocker in that had a broken piece. It was an heirloom given to my wife by her aunt that had passed recently. They think it is a “Lowentraut” glide rocker. It turned out to be a rare item resulting in no replacement parts to be found. But, rather than just deliver disappointment, they scouted out two places that do custom part fabrication and received quotes. Ultimately, my wife found the estimated repair cost to be beyond her comfort zone so we donated it to the Repair Clinic. Still, I found the level of effort, professionalism, and research way above what I expected. I will seek these folks out for future repairs without question and can easily recommend them to anyone else!

I recently had the pleasure of recruiting the Furniture Doctors to repair special items newly in my possession . This is not my first experience with the Furniture Doctors. A couple of beautiful family pieces arrived from San Francisco with breaks sustained during their shipment. Knowing from past experience of their beautiful work, I specified my preference to my insurance Adjuster that Furniture Doctors do the repairs. Once the Adjuster took the project up with Furniture Doctors, the project flew out of my hands and was completed beautifully and well ahead of the expected completion date. The project couldn't have been easier for me. The items were collected at my home and delivered back to me. They are beautiful once again. We are so fortunate to have Furniture Doctors in this area . I wouldn't entrust repairs to beautiful antiques to anyone else. Furniture Doctors are specialists extraordinaire.

Do you restore clocks, such as a Grandfathers that was damaged in a move? In addition, the brass wts were damaged/ bent. Also, do you clean clocks? One more question; do you pick up? I live in CDA. Thank you
