If a zero rating was possible its certainly what I'd rate this place. I've had brunch all across the DMV and by far this is the worst experience. We made reservations, wanting to try brunch within our neighborhood. What a mistake! I explained to the server that we had reservations. The server then asked which water we'd like, we both responded bottled. He then returned with a glass of water, saying I thought you said regular water. Which he seem to become instantly irritated. For the duration of service he was extremely rude, impatient, and not very friendly. Keep in mind this is our first visit ever. He then complained that he was hot and said they about to get busy. As if he was indicating we need to hurry and place our order after just sitting down. We were not treated like other customers nearby, he was much more pleasant. I was then basically yelled at because I had the Google menu oppose to their actual in store menu which prompted me to ask questions in the first place about the menu. After placing the order and food not showing up that was ordered, he begin to tell us over and over that we didn't order said items. The food was tasty but because of such rude service I didn't complete my meal. I just wanted to get out of this place at this point. Its unfortunate since our goal is to support businesses in the community and share our experience. However, our first experience here will more than likely be our last.

My Provost Burger was perfectly prepared. I also sampled the crab cake - also very good! Several guests in our party ordered the red snapper (beautifully prepared). We dined on the rooftop terrace, which we had mostly to ourselves. The server staff was very courteous.

Enjoyed a lovely outdoor brunch with my family. We dined on the roof top seating. My husband and I ordered the shrimp & grits which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered chicken and waffles. The waffles were light and thin but quite fulfilling. They only served boneless thigh meat as the chicken. I would have preferred white meat, but it was seasoned so well it didn't really matter. We had such a wonderful time! Definitely will visit again.

Our experience was very pleasant. The waiter was hilarious. I think the owner was the one that made our drinks, which were really good. We trusted the waiter's food suggestions and they were all good. We had the lollipop chicken wings and the bang bang shrimp (so good that we doubled the order). The crab cake was so delicious and moist. The fried red snapper was on point! The sides were ok. The restaurant was cold inside which I wasn't happy with. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. Food and customer service did it for us.
