Cheverly Garden Apartments (Emerald Apartments) are cheap. Live here until you can afford better and then treat yourself and live somewhere better because you deserve a higher quality of life. I am not going to trash talk the complex I will let the pictures speak about the quality of living. I do believe the new ownership in the 6 months of living there with the new ownership are trying; these apartments just have too big of an infestation to truly fix. I lived there for a total of 2 years 1.5 with old ownership .5 with the new ownership. Also I attached 2 pictures of tools (spray and plugin) I used to help limit infestations in my apartment while living there that seemed to work at least a little bit.

Thiis place was called Cheverly Gardens. When I moved in the unit in April, the bathroom was incomplete. Towel and toilet racks was under the sink. After moving in the unit, i had mice. The unit under smelled like someone died in it. It took them to change the name for them to get in the unit gut it out but the smell was still lingering. The late night parking is poor. They cut a tree downstairs never got it up. Parts of the tree was in the street so you lost a parking. The rest of the tree is still on the sidewalk. Staff was rude and impolite. Staff changes too much. Would not recommend to live in this area.

If I could do less than one star, I would. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This place is infested with roaches and mice. Mice will crawl on your furniture and bed. Roaches in your food and on your clothing. I have no idea how this place has not been shut down... exterminators come every week and still no difference. Old management didn’t do anything to help. The new management is a bit nicer but you still see the same problems unfortunately. The old landlord was horrible, she’d would yell and threaten you. Living there was truly traumatic. Please stay away. You’re better at a motel. NEVER AGAIN!

The bad reviews on here are far from the truth. My experience so far at Cheverly Gardens has been amazing. The staff are helpful and pretty nice. Adrienne is awesome! She helped me with my application process and everything else I needed help with. She’s professional, patient and polite. The unit is spacious, clean and affordable. Give them a call and check it out for yourself.
