Terrible service, the cashier had a bad attitude just because they didn’t have change for 50 dollars, like if it’s my problem that they don’t. They’re also always out of stock in things. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

if I could give 0 stars I would unfortunately not be able to do. is a nightmare to go to this pharmacy they never have the products that is the excuse that they always have, the insurance tells you that you have to use this pharmacy but they are so unprofessional they do not care about the patients and that many of us depend on medications to stay alive

This is my second review of Walgreens in less than a week. I don’t know what is going on with Walgreens but I’ve encountered issues in Maryland and Texas. Today, an agent at this location told me that I couldn’t transfer my zolpidem from another Walgreens to this location. I was told that my provider would have to call in a new prescription. She couldn’t explain why and said I’m not sure about other pharmacies but Walgreens requires a new Rx. I am a pharmacist. Maryland state law allows a permanent transfer of any prescription that is not a schedule II. I am not trying to pharmacy shop. I need to transfer bc the Walgreens on Baltimore Ave in Riverdale,MD is CLOSED ON A MONDAY. They can’t seem to find staff. They just randomly close during the week.

I have experienced very bad service from this Walgreens this week. First, their pharmacy has been closed during their listed open hours at completely unpredictable times, making it impossible to pick up a medication I have that cannot be filled elsewhere. Literally when I visit during open hours, there is a sign stating that no one is available and there isn’t any time it says they will be open again. Second, when I try calling the pharmacy, I am put on a long hold, then it sounds like someone momentarily picks up the line to just put me immediately back on hold. I have spent probably over an hour of time on hold this week so far. Third, I tried reaching the pharmacy through the main store line. I was told by someone that they were transferring me to the pharmacist, then I was put on a long hold. The phone was answered by another main store employee, who was surprised I was waiting for the pharmacist and again said I was being transferred. Another long hold, and another main store employee answered. To his credit, he apologized for being unable to connect me with the pharmacist, saying the pharmacist was too busy to answer. I’ve also spent about 40 minutes on a phone call to Walgreens Corporate to file an official complaint. I understand not being able to connect me to the pharmacy. I do not understand being told I was being transferred and then not being transferred over or being put on infinite holds. Very, very unprofessional

It may be your insurance company. I don't know for sure. This Walgreens seem to be able to do what they want.
