Absolutely redicuilous been waiting a year to get my 5 year old daughter in and all they do is x-ray again and tell me to schedule an appointment and tell me the same thing they have been for a year that they aren't scheduling appointments my daughter's mouth hurts she should have to deal with this if I could give 0 stars I would 😡🤬

I went here as a walk-in and it was still faster than a certain other place in town. They were fast, didn't leave me waiting after the shots and were very gentle! They might be short staffed because they rarely answer or return calls.

The Dental staff and office staff are great. They are skilled, professional and very kind. As an adult, don’t expect to actually receive any dental care from SCH. In the time it takes to receive dental care (in my case 2 and a half years on a wait list for an appointment) a small cavity has turned into a needed root canal, and I still don’t have an appointment. In hindsight, it would have taken me a quarter of the time to save up the money needed for this procedure and pay out of pocket. I didn’t realize that my tooth had decayed into such a bad state until I started experiencing extreme pain. It took me two days of waiting in the lobby to be seen as a “walk in”.

I am so fortunate that Shasta community health dental center was able to help me last week as a walk in to take care of a a tooth that a crown had been broken off several months ago and became abscessed. I was in a lot of pain had made several attempts to fine a dental office accepting new patients. Everyone involved in working on my tooth were so pleasant and professional I couldn't find any other dental office that could have assisted me better and as quickly. I am so thankfully happy with Shasta Community Health Dental Center!

We are new to town, just moved here from Paradise after the Camp Fire destroyed our home. We both desperately need to be seen by a dentist.. We have medi-cal but what do we need to do to be able to be seen by the dentist here?

I came from Paradise, also and I haven't seen a dentist since I moved from Quincy to Paradise and then Redding. I can't even find a primary care doc to get my prescriptions covered and be seen for my personal medical needs. I have champVA and so many providers don't accept insurance for veyetan spouses. That's BS!

Yes they take partnership and medi-cal. They are wonderful! You have to be a patient of Shasta community health center before you can go to them. Also you will be placed on wait list! It could take up to 6 months! But once them call you and you go see them then your set. Hope this helps
