The reviews of the benches made us curious. π The walk was nice and easy - view was great (if you look over the freeway). And yep...lots of benches - almost like a graveyard for them! Literally 7 in a space that should have two maybe three. And they weren't spaced evenly and they were totally erratic. I guess that's what makes this an interesting and curious place to visit! βΊοΈ

Noted an article about this habitat type in OR that is disappearing. Had it on the list of items to check out for more of an urban hike day. I appreciate that the oaks and prairie like environment got saved from getting fully bulldozed over. There is a very short trail in the area near loud 205 that overlooks a shopping center and is near some fairly large houses that I'm skeptical anyone besides a family of 8 really needs. I enjoyed looking at the oaks and tall grass, but the setup of this park mostly just makes me wish fewer houses had been built on this hill and more of the savanna made a larger park. It's worth a visit if you are in the area and can be done with some other hikes in nearby parks.

A decent view over west linn. The benches are pretty ridiculous. Sometimes there's a bunch of litter but there's definitely regular maintenance being done, which is great. The location isnt great nor is the walk itself or the area. If you like zig zagging up a grassy hill, you're in luck.

Was my favourite place to photograph, especially near sunset during the summer. The absolute best of times to be had hear.
