The entire place was awesome 2 years ago. Then all of the wonderful plants were stripped out for a fern forest that all promptly died. The privacy of the pool was removed and nothing was ever done to accommodate actual residents. While leaving we went through a grooling process of trying figure out exactly what was going to be charged for and not. As "the walls are always re-done so they aren't part of a fee" and then we're pointed to our lease and not actually told anything. Unfortunately I believe it is because of the unawareness of the very clearly, very new management. All the friendly atmosphere that made me move in has been replaced with the uniformed, and the robotic. I don't want points on a website. I want a place to live I enjoy living at. If you're unaware of the limitations and conditions of Oregon weather, please hire someone who consults someone who is. Don't install things that you do not understand the limitations of in my place. I am insanely disappointed.

TOUR THIS PLACE BEFORE YOU LEASE!! The exterior photos make this place look like a dream- trust me, I was fooled too. I would emplore you, especially if you're looking at the 1 bdrm, to look before you lease. The one bdrm views are ABYSMAL. They are ALL located on the first floor and feature views of the parking lot or the road with lots of traffic noise. Make sure you're a fan of looking at closed blinds 24/7. The kitchen layout is a NIGHTMARE. There is no storage space, and for some reason I have to completely open the oven door to be able to get into a set of drawers (?). Also, be prepared to never cook at home as the fire alarm will be set off by merely opening a heated oven. Management also went through and removed the majority of the privacy arborvitae surrounding the first floor patios this April, so your patio is not secluded whatsoever. If you like absolutely no privacy, then the first floor apartments are made for you. As far as the surrounding area- traffic is awful. Be prepared to be in standstill traffic on Willamette Drive from 7-9 am and 2-6pm weekdays. All in all, if I could do everything over, I would not have signed a lease at this location. Pros: management is understanding and polite, the 1 bdrm apartments stay cool in the summer as there is no sun exposure, now that they have a maintenance guy that actually does his job the pool is very nice, the surrounding neighborhoods are good for dog walking.
