Classic Sash & Door replaced all my windows and several doors in my 1950s home I was renovating. The initial consultation helped me decide the direction I wanted to go in. The process of selection and ordering went smoothly. The crew that installed the windows and doors were really good. Very respectful of home and excellent work. They didn't leave until every window was cleaned inside and out. There were delays but the communication were good and they worked around my other contractor's schedule. I am very happy with the end result.

We hired Classic Sash & Door Company to enclose our old lattice and screen porch in 2019. Nearly three years later, we still stop to admire their stellar work. We worked directly with Bo Sullivan, a talented designer and historian, who took great care to make sure our new windows and door would match the style of our 110 year old house. The project was complicated thanks to deteriorated framing and a sloping floor. Bo actually designed the door to be 'trimmable' so when we later installed a newly-leveled tile floor it would fit perfectly. The attached 'after' photo shows the door after a 5" triangular wedge was cut from the bottom - with his planning, everything still appears proportionate. Not only that, he made sure the glass panes in the door were level with the windows on either side: a detail I surely would've missed until everything was installed. No detail was overlooked - and because of this, the work could be original (except for the fancy new window technology involved). Classic made sure our hinges were ball hinges, that our hardware was unlacquered to patina like the rest of the house, and that the grid design matched our original wood windows. It's the kind of work we'd want in a new build if we had one. The quality is top notch and the smallest details just make everything look -right-. Classic's carpenters are skilled (I have several woodworkers in the family so I can be really annoying about little details) and incredibly unobtrusive. They left the work site so clean we wouldn't have known they were there, except that the work got done. I highly recommend Classic for your window and door needs!

Classic Sash and Door replaced our front door and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our sales rep Thomas was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and had some great design suggestions. He wasn't sales-y at all, and his enthusiasm about doors made the process actually kinda fun. Peter, the installer, was friendly and professional, and did an utterly beautiful job on the installation, going way above and beyond what I was expecting. (He also wore a mask and let us know he's vaccinated, which was very much appreciated since I'm immunocompromised.) The painter they recommended (Duane of Aesthetic Finishes) to finish the door is truly an artist and somehow made our new door even more magical with the perfect color and an aged patina that makes the door seem as though it's always been there. The owner of Classic Sash as well as the rest of the staff I interacted with were all very helpful, friendly, and super responsive as well. They're booked out months in advance, but they set realistic expectations about how long it would take and even ended up installing a month early due to a cancellation. They exceeded expectations every step of the way, and I wish they could work on all of our house projects from now on. This is a top-notch company that employs great people and does high-quality work.
