What used to be a hidden gem in Hawthorne is a full blown diamond now. They never disappoint, it’s my daughters and I go to brunch spot. Great plant based offerings as well as regular egg sandwiches. She keeps it simple with yoko ono and I go with the vegan burrito with just egg added. Can’t go wrong. Don’t forget the aardvark hot sauce!

Fried Egg I’m in Love with this place. Food was perfect portions and seasoned to perfection. Definitely will be back. Great vibe to the place. Very fast and friendly service.

We've been wanting to try this spot for a while, and we finally got a chance to pay them a visit. I ordered the Huevo Mutilation. It's a sourdough sandwich with a fried egg (of course), seared ham, avocado, tomato, havarti cheese, and sriracha. It was delicious and worth the wait. We arrived around 9:45 AM and it didn't LOOK busy, but there was a 30 to 40 minute for the food to come out. I'm sure they were either short staffed (like most places) or slammed with online orders. Either way, I'd keep this in mind when choosing to come here. Like I said, to me, it was worth the wait. I enjoyed every bite of it. All the ingredients tasted fresh and had great flavor. My wife ordered the Yolko Kono and said she really liked it. She ordered it because it comes with their homemade pesto, which I got to try and I really liked as well. We sat on the counter by the window, which was nice for this clear and sunny day. There was outdoor seating as well (high tables), which is good to note if you want some fresh air or you're stopping by with a pet! Overall, it was a great place to have breakfast and we hope to go back next time we're in Portland.

Today was a great day but the highlight of the day was this morning, grabbing breakfast at Fried Egg I'm In Love. Was there a wait? Yes. Was it worth it? 100%. The one breakfast burrito I got, the Rito Suave, was delicious. The wait time for that single burrito was delightful also because I spent it listening to the people working in the kitchen singing "I Believe In A Thing Called Love". Really singing it, too, getting into it. 10/10 recommend I believe in a thing called love Just listen to the rhythm of my heart...
