People should read more. Kids should read more. Library cards are free. I highly recommend you utilize this wonderful aspect of being a citizen of whatever town or city you live in. Maybe I'm biased, I can't think of any library I wouldn't give 5 stars. Many libraries now offer audio books, DVDs and video games and even periodicals (magazines and newspapers). If you're reading this right now remind yourself that some books are not that much longer than this review.

We have been to several libraries in the area and old town library has got to be the best. Not only do they have a nice selection of books, especially for such a small town, but the workers are just so nice and so friendly and so eager to help. They are so patient when my kids bring a pile of 30 books to the front. They're just so happy to see kids reading. They do a lovely job of getting new books too. It feels like every few months they have a nice assortment of new books. They do a great job of balancing early chapter books, higher chapter books, and graphic novels for the kids. It's easy as a parent to let them grab graphic novels and chapter books. They were opened for a little bit with covid, but as of now they're shut down again to physically walking inside. They've been so sweet though when you show up and asking if there's a book that you want. they are still letting you order books and share books from different libraries, so if you go online you can check out books and then pick them up at the library. It has been super helpful.

I have visited this library since I was a toddler. Now I bring my three children to check out books, audio books, movies and meet friends weekly. This is a valuable and underutilized resource and I MUST add that Cindy Seger, the children's librarian, is AMAZING.

Yes .
Yes. They have both laptops and desktops available to use but they have to be checked out. If you don't have a library card with them, you can set up a computer user account with an ID.
