So Wednesday I returned, not as a customer to purchase, but to sell. Previous experience was good. I am not at all a coin guy! Stamps were my thing. Same disease. The Doctor of numismatic diseases on duty, was “Fabulous Fred “. This guy has it all. He has been handling coins since elementary school, the days of penny candy. He shared his experience with me on myself educational ‘trial balloon” visits. I played the part of sell high, he was on the buy low side. No regrets, they have a for profit business, so we had a willing seller and willing buyer - ‘nuff said Fred gotter done. He is a bottom liner, like me, to the point. He helped immensely with my sale, He parted with the information I needed, although like my tube of AIM toothpaste the work to get the “cap” off and the gentle squeeze was needed. Enjoy doing business with a dependable frank businessman. The others are good too. Josh, knowledgeable and courteous to a bumbling old geezer like me. Will, Mr. Personality. A man with a heart in his business and his family also, just a pleasure to deal with the Owner in the store, wish him many successful business days. Rachelle? Not just “eye candy”, she is learning fast, and courteous, helpful and a treasure to deal with. Gotta go. A lot of Dansco mounted pennies, and penny display stuff in today’s box lot prepared for bargaining over …. Say, I may meet you there!

They have a great variety of coins! The young man, I believe his name was Josh, was very helpful. He went over some pieces with me and was able to help me find a coin for my friend. I highly recommend them they are very knowledgeable!!

I just walked in and then out of this shop with $5,000 cash ready to buy silver, but the guy who runs the place is such a negative person I decided they don’t deserve my business. He immediately starts insulting me by predicting that I’m going to complain about the spot price vs. the retail price of silver. They won’t see me or my money again. This shop is low class and I’ll be buying all of my gold and silver in Portland from now on.
