Bought a Bearded dragon 2 months ago. Did everything right. Temp was right, food was right, calcium right and overnight found my baby had died. Warranty only cover 30 days. Not sure what I could have done differently, but now I'm just left wondering if I bought it from the right place. :(

Customer service was a huge disappointment. The girl behing the counter took things personally when I decided to try a different style leader than "the one that WE use". Weird. The next girl, possibly the manager was a little more accommodating but there was a really bad attitude here. Customers definitely dont come first.

Please share - my grandmother purchased 2 / 30lb bags of whole hearted dog food from Petco in south portland Maine - she told them she found these bugs in the dog food and wanted either a refund or gift card for a different dog food to which the worker said if she didn’t have her receipt she couldn’t do anything. My grandmother used a gift card so I’m very aware that they can look this up especially since she told her the time date and event when she was there. My nana has also reached out to them via email with no response and attempted to call with no return calls . I’m hoping my friends/family and other animal owners share this to get them blasted on social media to do the right thing! As well as check other Batches to ensure other animal safety.

I remember hearing them say to another customer about a month ago that they were not taking returns, but would consider the original return policy limitations once a decision to accept them has been made. I would contact them directly to see how the situation will progress!

The cats they get for adoption in their store varies. To know for sure I recommend calling the store. If they don't have any, I then recommend calling the local shelter.
Yes, typically on a walk-in basis. They are people and dog friendly, quick and do a great job.

I believe Petco does do cat grooming, by appointment. However, I highly recommend learning how to do it yourself from YouTube to avoid over stressing or traumatizing your cat. Get gloves meant for climb shucking so the cat can't bite or scratch you. Cats do not adjust to being groomed as well as cats do. If not, go to The Cat Doctor in Portland. They have great prices!
