We had a wonderful time at go ape adventure park. It’s zip-lining and a ropes course in the trees. Eileen was wonderful on the ground, talking us through different decisions and encouraging our little ones. Jeff was great with the swing (definitely the Scariest but funnest part). Great staff overall and great experience!! We also had one member who was too scared to do the course and they let her try for a long as she was comfortable and no one pressured her and they graciously refunded her when she couldn’t do it. Definitely recommend this with kids in Kansas City!

You can never have too much fun with ziplines. We did the treetop course which was awesome. There are different obstacles to get through and then you can zip to the next batch. It's so much fun, I promise you'll have a blast. While there a lady who was afraid of heights had an episode and Jeff, our instructor was up there very fast to help. She made it down safely! Great staff, great place, great times. Definitely would recommend them, and I think we'll be going again

This is our second time coming out here, and both times was a blast! Fun and, for the most part, you aren't rushed through. The staff is very friendly and they all make sure everyone is safe. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of thrill!

I don't think I can describe how much fun this really was. I am 65 and brought my daughter and 2 grandsons to do this. We all thought this was about the most fun we've ever had. It was challenging, it was a bit of of a workout...and it was an absolute blast! We will be doing this again!!!

Hi Ray, It's always subject to change concerning the weather, but currently, our calendar is open until November 25! Cheers, JK
TL/DR: there's not really any safe place to leave your dog unattended. I don't know the specifics of any rules, but their 'office' is in a trailer inside Swope Park, not far from the course and the parking lot. There isn't any place to keep your dog nor probably anyone who could watch it for you. Also, you'll be running the zip line course so unless you plan on tying your dog off at each station, climbing, doing the tree high obstacle course or zip line and then going back for you dog and then walking to the next station (assuming they let you bring your dog in the first place) there's not really a realistic way to involve your dog.
Hi Heather, Our belay system keeps you locked in throughout the adventure, and the training session at the beginning is thorough enough to leave you feeling confident to tackle the course on your own. The instructors are always patrolling the forest working with groups that need assistance, but it's a mostly independent experience! Cheers, JK
My wife who is out of shape and has a bad back enjoyed everything except the Tarzan swing
Go Ape does have full body harnesses with shoulder straps!
$60/adult, $40/child as of 9.2.2020

Hi Becky! Yes, non-participants can watch their friends on the course from the trails below and do not have to pay for a ticket. Cheers, JK
