Wow this is a bad company to work for. On the first day the management had no Idea 4 new hires were starting. After a hour wait they take us into a training room we're there is a big rainbow 🌈 unicorn stable sign right on the front main wall. I never have a issue with anyone's gender or preferences, but it is not professional to post stuff like this at a work place. You are given a schedule, but supervisor can add a hour of time on or send you home early. Last thing is the job, doing returns and you will get some nasty worn cloths. This place is no different then a food cannery, if that's something you like then this could work for you

This is a great job to start out in life or as a transition job between layoffs or career changes. Excellent environment for Covid protocols by all employees. I do have a bone to pick with the sign bonus that began four days after I started, ethically anyone starting within at least 7 days should qualify for said bonus pro-rated. Otherwise it is a slap in the face and brings down morale.

PDX5 is a Sort Center. If you want a fulfillment center, I believe Salem is where you need to look
The number is a one-way phone only used to communicate with Amazon employees, and has no way of receiving your calls. As an employee at PDX5 who shops at Amazon, I've been in the same situation. The best bet is to call the customer service number.

The phone number listed is for PDX5's HR team to get in contact with their associates. If you feel like you have the need to reach an associate in event of an emergency, have the associate in question get the emergency phone number from security. By calling that number, you will be able to have the associate in contact within a few minutes if they are working during that time.
There is no direct pick up from this location unfortunately.
