I really liked the location, convenient and close to everything. When I signed the lease everyone was very helpful and kind. Especially Christina, she was great made the entire experience wonderful. Their was a small issue when we did the walk through, but one of the maintenance guys, believe his name was Eric, had the issue taken care of before we left the apartment. I love my new home@ Mission Road Apartments!

Great location that is quiet and decently maintained. Just know that you won’t get back majority of security deposit and could be extremely slow with repairs although this varied - dishwasher replaced in 2 days, broken door and broken cabinet never repaired despite several official requests. Management was always fair to deal with as well without any overt issue. Rent raised twice while I was there. Overall great location and decent place, just don’t expect too much

I moved into Mission Studios due to the location and friends being right around the corner and close to work in 2018. I had problem with the Studio not being ready, the doors having broken frames, kitchen not all the way cleaned carpets that wasn't shampoo, Closet door had holes and the walls being half-way painted and this was on move in day. The first year nothing was fixed, and I had termites and roaches on which they don't spray. The 2nd year I fixed some of the small problems and then the owner decides to raise the rent because he just repaves the parking lot. The rent went from $595 to $650 then 6 months later to $700. I moved out in June 2021 my next door Neighbors had bugbeds I treated that apt and did a better job at getting the studio ready for the next person. I've been waiting for my deposit. I called e-mailed and wrote a letter asking for my deposit. I would have to say, move in at your own risk, just don't expect your deposit back. This site will only post if I give one star on which they do not deserve. Update 9-25-2021 Yesterday I received $100 back from my deposit. I noticed that the check was dated 7-15-2021 as well as the disposition form. I was charged for cleaning and carpet cleaning. The funny part about this whole situation. The carpets wasn't cleaned when I moved in and I had to clean the stove and refrigerator as well as the apartment on which was put down on my first walk through when I moved in. Some how they lost all my original paperwork from the beginning. I do Thank the owner for kindly returning some what of my money. Keep in mind that life is a journey and not all things turn out right. Be blessed to overcome stuff like this. I posted how the apt looked when I moved out. I do agree with them cleaning the carpets if they did that.

We went to look at a place. My son and I. We lined it because of some of the reviews and it would be a great place to get a fresh start as we are looking to downsize from our home. However when we got their there was a lady who appeared to be Indonesian. She wasn't very welcoming at all. She did not show us the model apartment she showed us to it. She didn't tell us anything about the apartment or the complex. She seemed very dismissive and told us we could pay the application fee online instead of doing one there. I called after leaving to tell her I couldn't find anywhere on the website that has a link to apply of pay the application fee. She said she would send a link to my number. I have no idea why she seemed so rude but it made us feel unwelcome. Also her first question was a response to my question and that was if they have income restrictions. I asked that because I may make too much as some properties are tax credit and I am not sure if it's a tax credit property..... But her response question was how much do you make. I got a feeling she thought we couldn't afford the apartment which she may have prejudged us.... It's sad that this is going on in Kansas city if so.
