UPDATE: The individual Lunco has managing Puckett Pointe, Norrisha Reed has hit a new time low!!! The apartment complex flooded an elderly couples apartment on the first floor (and others). The first time they went to the office for assistance Norrisha Reed told them to have a seat, she is completing an online class, during work hours may I add. They then placed really loud machines to dry out the floors. (I have just been told they were NOT supposed to allow tenants to be around the machines like that and it was their responsibility to place them in a different safe apartment unit. Not kick them out.) She started being rude to the couple because they were unable to run multiple very loud machines 24/7. No one can live with that noise 24/7. Also, it was the elderly couples responsibility to move all furniture and contents out. She started saying smart a** comments to the elderly couple like “I’m leaving since you’re not cooperating. We aren’t going to fix anything because you didn’t run the machines constantly.” They dropped off their rent and Norrisha Reed ran outside after them to say something not related to fixing the damage Puckett Pointe caused and the elderly wife had enough and didn’t want to talk to her. So guess what everyone? That SAME DAY Norrisha Reed walked down to the apartment and gave the elderly couple a 60 days notice to vacate for unsafe conditions that the Puckett Pointe/The Lundco company caused!! They caused the damage and are punishing the tenants! The truth is if this was a younger couple Norrisha Reed wouldn’t dare do any of this. They are so cheap, they rather kick people out instead of repairing damage they caused?! That way they can continue decorating an updating while tenants have no A/C and moldy floors. I’m going to find out who can help because how do you put someone out their home for damage YOU caused!? Again, I will be sharing these traumatic experiences with everyone that has a compassionate heart. These are very hard times. Elderly people are on fixed incomes and now have to come up with a lot of money to move for damage that was caused by Puckett Pointe. I moved in back in 2009. When I was sent a letter last year that new management was taking over I moved out within TWO WEEKS!! I just knew they would not care for their tenants like the family that owned the building. I am so glad I did because currently I have family members and friends who decided to stay and unfortunately are having a terrible experience. My daughter has asthma and has been living there without air conditioning since OCTOBER!! She has called and emailed and they still haven’t replaced the part. Next week it will be 100 degrees outside. She has finally agreed to come over to my house so she will not suffer living in that apartment. I’m furious!! The people running that place would NEVER allow their daughter, mother, grandmother live without air conditioning during scorching temperatures for one second let alone EIGHT MONTHS!!I am sharing this with my coworkers and every single social networking platform that I can think of!! I will share this every single day till my daughter and the other tenants get air!! Yes, it’s not just my daughter who is suffering with no air!!! To top everything off, they have the audacity to raise rent and they’re not even making sure people can live comfortably without dying from heat stroke!!! Take a break from all the updating, decorating and making plans to install a gym and FIX YOUR TENANTS AIR CONDITIONING!!!

I lived here for a few years and found it to be ideal for my needs at the time. It's reasonably priced, neighbors were quiet, the management was responsive, the pool was nice. And the location is amazing - quick access to I-35, grocery stores and restaurants. Not far from West 39th and KU Med neighborhoods, and an easy drive or rideshare to Westport and the Plaza.

Cockroaches, bed bugs, old appliances and windows, and dirty apartment buildings. However, these are not the reasons for my one-star rating. The reason for my rating falls on the terrible management. They're never there, and it'll take weeks to fix problems (I once waited 10 days in the dead heat of July for them to fix a broken window - left about 5 messages during that time and never heard back from them). If you want to pay rent for a management team that works on their time and not yours (during the very few hours they do work), then you'll love this garbage dump.

Moving in in July so I don't know much about the place yet but I can tell you that I am very pleased with the way I was treated when I stopped by to look at one of the apartments. It seemed very clean, pool is very nice and I love that all doors are intercom access! That makes me feel safe! From what I can tell already, great customer service and I think I'm going to like it here!!
