DO NOT MOVE IN TO THESE APARTMENTS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! When I first heard about royal ridge apartments I was super excited! It was right down the street from my job and in a very convenient place for me to commute to pick up my son. The move in process was very easy, no hassle. As soon as I moved in it seemed like things started to change. Not only was my move in date pushed back due to water damage, once I actually got to move in I found out I had a pest problem. When telling management about the issue they didn't believe me and stated nothing was seen in the apartment before. I advised them that I had not brought them with me from my previous place of residence so I'm not sure where else they would have come from. I moved in April 9th 2020 and moved out April 9th 2021. I literally had roaches from the time I moved in to the time I left. There weren't as many as there were in the beginning but they were still there nonetheless. I have a four year old who likes to play on the floor so I basically bothered the office several times about my issue and it was never resolved. They told me all I could do was put down sticky traps and have pest control come when they came out for my building. For some reason that didn't help it seemed to make it worse. I ended up having to buy raid, roach motels and my own sticky traps. Later down the line my HVAC unit began leaking. When I called maintenance they sent someone out from maintenance to come and look at it. After they came out I was told they had to put a bucket under it until it could be fixed. The bucket was placed under the hvac unit for me to empty everyday. At one point I had to empty it at least 3-4 times a day. I work so I wasn't always able to empty it out so sometimes when I would come home the bucket would overflow and there'd be water everywhere. It took maintenance a whole month to come back and fix the hvac and that was only because eventually there was so much water that had leaked out that in the hallway underneath me the ceiling had fallen out. On top of that I had black mold. When I told them I had black mold due to it leaking they didn't really care just fixed the leak and left the rest for me to clean. They even left the buckets behind. So I say all this to say my stay at Royal Ridge was not the greatest and I would not recommend anyone stay here. Not until they at least get better management and more maintenance men. Not to mention when you are going thru a financial hardship especially due to Covid they don't have any empathy for you and you're basically SOL.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE LIVE HERE. Management has no concept of knowing how to manage. They make up rules stating it’s on the lease. So be very careful. There whole complex is infested with roaches and mice. Police are there almost every week. And people easily break in to your apartment. There was a stabbing and someone got robbed twice! Robbed a bank and hid out at royal ridge apartments 8 to 9 squad cars were out there questioning people had K-9s , AR15 . Just not a good environment and not good people.

My lease is up at the end of this month. Never had an issue living here. Well, except for the fact the my building would smell like weed sometimes, but that's not something management has control over. Not once did I have an issue with management. They are kind and understanding and for the most part, they try to work with you. I decided to move in despite the negative review I read and I am glad I did. My apartment was impeccable when I moved in, and everything was in working order. Most of my communication was with Lisa, and she is amazing on all levels. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because the washer and dryer in the building are a joke, a dryer was even missing a door, lol. But again, they are through a company and management really can't get them fixed. Dryers were $1 and the company came in, upped them to $1.25... both of them, including the one with no door. How did they not see that??? Luckily there is a fairly new and well kept laundromat right next to the apartments. No inconvenience at all.

Our lease ends the end of June and we could not be happier. The office staff are very shady people they don't really care about you. They raise rent and have no explanation for it. They make false promises like the whole bombing every 3 months thing not that we have bugs but its the point we've been here a year and haven't had it done yet. Our dishwasher has been broke since we moved in ( they know) hasn't gotten fixed. Our kitchen light is out (they know) still isn't fixed. During the summer the pool is NEVER open. Overpriced ass apartments DO NOT MOVE HERE.
