Iโve been using the AllTrails app for a new hike and it led me to this one. Although the waterfall was not what i expected (small stream) I enjoyed the hike. There was a lot of insects flying around it did get a little annoying but never the less made the trip horrible just every once in a while i would scare them of with my cap. I did end up hiking the truck trail which theres a circuit and lucky for me thats when all those flys went away and you literally find yourself in the mountain the trail goes along a river. Along the road i came across signs telling a description about the land, which i found pretty interesting. I did went up there with my dog so I was in a few occasions worried about any bears or mountain lions since we were the only ones on the trail, but didnโt encounter any(sighs). Both trails, the water fall & truck trail was a total of 7 miles, good hike, i was glad their was hardly any graffiti and plenty off parking space, $5 on a weekday. Will be back soon, the dam looked cool, even though Iโm afraid of heights. Hiking really has helped me with my anxiety and fears, wear your fav shoes/boots and start exploring!

What a wonderful hideaway for escaping the rigors of the noisy city below. This is a great little park where one can find solitude, picnic areas, hiking trails, beautiful vistas, wildlife, flowers, and trickling brooks. The park is well-staffed. they have a nature center and a ranger station. there's plenty of handicap facilities, but the trails and the roads are somewhat steep.

If you park inside make sure to be out before 5pm. Gates will be closed at 5pm.
I saw people camping, but it's too small to bring a RV.. You may want to call first.
A nice place a park to visit with the family to go for a walk to walk with loved ones you can find bears several animals with a small waterfall at the end of the tour where you can cool off with the fresh and clean water that fell in place a small stream vegetation that gives a pure oxygen rent spaces to camp a cabin also has ranger surveillance
Moderate climbing and river crossings would try monrovia trail its easier no climbing
The reservations are controlled, but its probably emptier in the morning. . .
Soon
The roads are open, but access to the waterfall & outlook is closed. The main trail around is open but closed off where it leads to the waterfall. https://www.cityofmonrovia.org/home/showdocument?id=22683
They are closed on weekends. So closed tomorrow too.
The waterfall is closed, unfortunately. We were just there the other day.
nope
No, this is a hiking place. Not for mountain biking or off roading.
You need to call them.
It's in a mailbox when you enter the park, in the middle of the road, next to where you park one.
It's usually open, rain or shine. Unless something happened or they have an event already scheduled. You can call to confirm.
Definitely watch for bears
Hello, yes you can camp there. They actually have some kind of summer camp program. ๐๐๐ผ
Yes, a parking pass
Stealth camping? No way, too many visit this area especially on the weekends. Heavily trafficked. If you just want to camp, there is an actual campsite but from your question not what you're looking for.
They, along with other mountainous areas/parks, will close their gates when it rains due to dangerous situations that may arise such as rock slides etc. The areas are now open during their regular hours.
7AM on Sundays
I have no information on their rules or regulations concerning drones. You should contact them directly.
Only parking lot is closed on Tuesdays. Could park at the residential area below 2 1/2miles from Rangers office, then 2 miles to the water falls. The to trails is very brightly sunny so bring water and hydrated. Be safe narrow pathway, runners may suddenly appear and could know you out. In my case I would avoid hurt anyone, and would just fall off the ledges. Have fun and enjoy all of nature's beauty๐๐
Areas identified by Tim Macias confirmed : not along the Trail to the Falls, and ask the Forest Rangers give you directions. When you pay for parking and you would not be able to drive out after 5:00 p.m. gate opens at about 7:00 a.m. so if you don't want get sited parking for the next day would suggest paying for following day as well. Keep in mind weekday parking pass is $5.00, but weekend parking pass is $6.00. Hope this was insightful enough and happy camping, and be safe, cause there are Rattle Snakes and Grizzly Bears
I wouldn't say there is a pool. You can touch the waterfalls, that's how you can get wet.
For walk in yes, the parking lots and roads are closed on Tuesdays.
About 5$
Should be open until 5pm
Yes, new Year's Eve and new Year's day. You can still walk into the park on these days but the vehicle entrance will be closed and the staff will be gone.
You had better carry your baby...the trails, though they are well maintained, can be rough to push a stroller. However there are park areas that can accommodate strollers.
