I used to appreciate this place, the original owners cared about their customers and now it's just like every other place out there. Prices are to high for propane. There's nothing special about coming to this store anymore. I hoped the new owners could continue to run black bear but they should rename it to something else, it's not black bear anymore.

So we used to love this place, have had propane through them for 2 years. Recently it switched owners and is now peak propane and now we're having problems. We called for a fill when our tank was at 27%, having done propane myself for work, I knew this would last us a bit since temperatures weren't terribly cold. So they told us they'd be out in a week, on Wednesday, and we said that's fine. Fast forward 11 days, now we've been out of gas, heating a 3000 sq ft home on a tiny spare 20 gallon that we continually have to fill up, they never bothered to show up, never returned calls and messages, they haven't answered either of their lines, regular or "emergency" in 3 days. Absolutely awful customer service and we'll definitely be looking into other options asap, we can't just have our house go cold in the middle of the night with a small child and an infant. Really disappointed at the change in owners. I highly suggest you look elsewhere for propane services.

Always excellent customer service and friendly staff. The owners support all military persons by giving a discount on purchases. Absolutely look at the clothes, there’s wonderful deals and the clothes are super soft, good quality made! Love this store, as the best prices for propane.

They were very friendly/polite, with good service, while delivering a great price on propane refill. If you need propane, you should give them a try. I'll be back. Also, to let you know this was my first visit but hopefully it will be many more visits to come.
