Decided to try Visionworks because they could schedule me sooner than my regular eye doctor. I had to schedule through and automated system that was not very user friendly, but I got a 9:00 am appointment. I was called and asked to provide my insurance information. They called back and told me I didn't have vision insurance. I insisted that I did - stating that my wife had just used it at their location three weeks earlier. They acknowledged that, but continued to say I was not covered, and they became annoyed when I ask them to tell me what ID number they were using (it was correct). I called my company, who called them and cleared it up. When I called back, the staffer said they sometimes lost information due to changes in their system. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 15 minutes early, but the store wasn't schedule to open until 9:00 - the same time as my appointment. I waited outside the door until 9:05 before the lights came on and a staff unlocked the door and walked away; no "hello" or "I'm sorry we're getting started late." She didn't even open the door. At this point I wasn't comfortable trusting something as important as my eye-sight to a company so lacking in professionalism. I cancelled my appointment.

Great service Holly helped me out with changing my appointment to a glasses only appointment to save me money from doing another contact appointment. Thanks again Holly!

My husband accidentally stepped on his glasses and Visionworks was happy to fix them at no charge. They were friendly and Rianna took extra time to make sure they were right. They had a nice selection of frames and it looks like we'll be going back so he can have a second pair.

Amazing experience every time I come in here for my glasses and my Mom’s glasses to get fixed. David Bruce, the Store Manager is wonderful, sweet and professional, treats us with kindness and a beautiful smile!!! I highly recommend this location to anyone with glasses needs!!!

Yes, they do. To what extent of damage they can repair, I don't know. But sounds like minor, day-to-day incidental damages they can handle. More damage might take longer but it sounds like the basic stuff they can do in hosue.
Transition lenses generally take at least 3 years to wear out. Temperature affects how Transitions change. When they're hot (like in the summer), the lenses will change slower and won't get as dark. Transition lenses don't change behind the windshield of a car.
