Don't miss a chance to get close and see your favorites here! Staff is helpful and present, and the whiskey bar is the best. There's plenty of space for everyone to move around throughout the venue. If you like gear, you can get close enough to check it all out. We've been numerous times and the most recent was a very pleasant experience. Will Call was not a huge hassle: the line kept moving, and we were in pretty quick. Only complaint is a minor one: No opportunity to take merch to the car (no passes out), so as not to have to carry it all night. This is pretty common for venues, so nbd I guess. Just a little thing for the wish list.

Me and my friend saw suicide boys and the g59 family here for the first time and it was great. The security staff was excellent, they really made sure everyone was safe. The actual space in the building that the shows are held in feels less claustrophobic than other venues I've been too and I really liked that. However, the hallway you wait in is pretty hot and claustrophobic. but the main space is very open, so that's cool. Other than that, everything was great.

Venue is a great size, very clean and well organized. Tons of convenient parking on the same block and also on the next block. Bathrooms are without a doubt the best and most clean I've used at a music venue. All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Vip lounge was an awesome experience too! We had a private bar, private bathroom, and private area to enjoy our show. Sound engineering was excellent! I've been to a decent amount of metal shows and bad mixing is always a problem, but not here! I would love to attend another show here.

Very cool venue. Fair beer prices. We went to the Morgan Wallen concert and had a great time. I started getting concerned about halfway through the concert as people were starting to get buzzed because it was standing room only and when trying to walk through 40-50 rows of people to get another drink or go to restroom and then trying to come back was an extreme challenge. People started blocking people saying they didn’t come through here. I would never go back if it’s going to be a large crowd. I won’t go back to a large standing room only event anywhere.

Questions & Answers

I plan on attending a concert in November here. My question is, is the GA better than the lounge? I read the lounge is above the stage, if we get there early would we be able to be RIGHT in front of the stage?

So, if you're facing the stage the lounge is elevated and to the left of the stage so you'd be looking at the side of the stage and it's at least 50+ ft away. If you want up front you'll need to just do GA and as Charles said below it depends per artist how early you would need to line up. I've been to 180+ concerts all across the country this year and there's no good answer for that unfortunately. Best of luck. Hope that's what you needed also, as far as parking goes if you get there early you can park directly on the street in front of the venue for free

How safe is the area? Is it easy to find for someone unfamiliar to the area?

The area is safe. Always, of course, still be aware of your surroundings when in any city but you really have nothing to worry about. It is EXTREMELY easy to find, the whole street is very cool and full of fun places to go!

Got a couple of friends who i guess are considered maybe rap/rock toe music. They are looking to book some showed for their next tour. It's Tom MacDonald & Nova Rockafeller. Would this be a good place for that type of music?

Denise Mierisch | Jun 4, 2019
Khadealus Mickabe | Jun 5, 2019

Oh god yes, I've been looking into booking Tom and Nova for the last few years now and marathon is an amazing establishment for all types of different genres of music. This is probably the best venue you could book any hip hop act in the greater Nashville area. The marathon is affiliated with yelawolf and has had anyone from ice cube to him play there. :) highly recommend and hope to see Tom perform there soon. :)
