The service at the Standard is top notch! 5 out of 5 stars for the ambiance, the history of the house and restaurant, and the quality and freshness of the food. From the moment we pulled up, there was a representative outside giving us some of the history of the house and escorting us in to another welcoming hostess. The server was amazing. Very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the menu. The lamb chops and creamed corn are definitely a must try! We also received complimentary glasses of champagne for our anniversary. Please visit The Standard if you are in Tennessee for an upscale experience outside of the bar scene with big flavors, history, and five star customer service.

The dining experience was just that, an experience, not just dinner. From the meet and greet at the gate to the desert and everything in between this was perfection through and through. The lobster bisque is a must! The main course, bursting with flavor! Not just salt and pepper or generic seasoning but true flavor in every single bite!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday here and had dinner in their public restaurant. Booking and reservations were very easy. We arrived and were greeted by a very nice staff. The decor is higher end and a little pretentious, but they seem to not be taking themselves too seriously. We started with the lobster bisque and fried green tomatoes, both were great. We both had the filet with mash and garlic, which was fantastic. The desserts were acceptable as well. The little touches: the take clothes, serving pitchers, paper towels, sound system, and chairs were all much cheaper than the price would suggest. Overall, a little over priced, but delicious meal.
