Lovely atmosphere. Reasonable price for the amount of food, service, and ambiance you receive. There are no individual menus. The bill of fare is posted at the entrance and your server will go over with you what the kitchen has prepared for that meal. Food is served family style You get EVERYTHING on the menu to share among the people in your party. Be hungry when you arrive! This, unfortunately, is not a good place to go to eat alone. It is best enjoyed by a large family or group. The food was simple and early American in style. Casserole style vegetables, deep fried chicken, lots of cheese, lots of sugar. Skip this restaurant if you have serious dietary restrictions. The food is delicious and the staff is attentive. The only thing that felt odd was having to exit the dining room through the narrow path that incoming diners were using to access the bathroom which was in the lobby.

We had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was just alright. The cabbage casserole and corn muffins were amazing, however, the rest of the meal was just eh.. Breakfast was fantastic. The cinnamon rolls and pork tenderloin were to die for. My husband loved the sausage links as well. As far as cleanliness, it could've been better. Several flies around the windows and the tables were a tad sticky. The wait staff was good at making sure everyone had what they needed and the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the dining room windows was spectacular. So all in all it was a decent experience.

Pretty old restaurant that needs deep cleaning and updating. Family style. Food is brought out to your table fixed menu. Fried chicken, meatloaf mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes along with corn, Lima beans and coleslaw. Always wanted to stop here on our way to Cherokee casino. Disappointing

Good Southern food with unbelievable portions. Great and very attentive service from the staff. Beautiful setting. We enjoyed some time on the porch rocking chairs after lunch.
