It's a nice hotel, a bit dated though. Rooms were cleaned every day, no bugs. It's a little bit far from everything. Great if you just want to hang out there, horseback riding and a pool on site.

We love staying at the Dillard House. We stayed in several different places there, from Helen's house to Eddie's house and two of the hotels. We love it. That's one of the reasons we keep go back to stay their while we go whitewater rafting. I will say that it could use some good maintenance.

The restaurant was terrible. Servers were unfriendly, and unhelpful. Food was poor quality. The slaw and the tomato and onion relish served first was excellent. All food was cold, cold, cold. Never write reviews, but would like to get money back, Eaten here several times and was excellent. New owner? Do not go.

I've been dining here for years and it's one of my all time favorites! This is Southern Food served southern style. Their menu can change daily so check before you go. I do have to say they have the best fried chicken and mac-n-cheese ever, oh and best fried okra too! If you go, be sure to stop by the Stables and setup a horseback riding trip and check the distillery out as well. 5 Stars!

Hello! Most of our rooms have two queen beds.
We have 14 going for Thanksgiving. Booked 3 units including a cottage. Table for dinner only holds 12 so 2 of us will be at an adjacent table.
Yes it will make a beautiful place with plenty of room as long as you make plans plenty in advance.
We've been hear since Thursday. Lots to do and the restaurant is wonderful. Service is top notch.
The Dillards have been welcoming travelers for over 100 years. They welcome everyone and provide a unique mountain experience. Go for the food and stay for the beautiful scenery.
They will sit you, then get your beverage orders, and then they will bring out breakfast dishes to table.
I would check their website for full rates on rooms/cottages. Rates start as low as $80 a night.
