I can always count on the Meating Place to have fresh stuff! We usually will bring a cooler and load up on everything we need and freeze it. Especially love that you can preorder holiday meats (like your Thanksgiving turkey) and they have made the process a breeze. No more buying a frozen lackluster butterball at the store!

Haven't eaten the meat yet so may come back and give another star later. The 4 stars are for the store itself. Lots of parking when you drive up. The store is spacious, bright, and clean. Lots of choices and the meat looked good. The prices were reasonable and we ended up getting a pair of nice thick NY Steaks and a couple pounds of lean burger... Well, and some jerky and a handful of pepperoni sticks. Looking forward to grilling the steaks. Update:. The steaks were great. The burger was tasty in both a pasta sauce and as taco meat. We went back for more of each this last weekend and my wife wants to pick up some of their thick pork chops next time we go. The marinated/seasoned meats looked good as well and planning to try some pre-made kabobs the next time we grill. Bumping the rating to 5 stars. This is our new go-to meat place

I’ve been looking for a proper butcher shop… and was more than pleased to find The Meating Place Butcher Shop! Drop by, you won’t be disappointed!!! I grabbed some summer sausage, Ground Elk, bacon, and some wings… I’ll be back!!!

This place is amazing! A friend told us about it and WOW! They have so much, even whole rabbit. We really loved the veal chops, feta chicken sausage and steaks we bought. Didn’t love the Mediterranean lamb sausage. Delightful other purchases includes seasonings and some awesome wine selections! We brought a cooler and filled it up; worth the drive out to this place!

We don’t process poultry, but do process wild game. Marion Acres is who we recommend for poultry processing.
I don't believe they do...they may be able to order some for you though
We have a truck that we send out to people who cant/dont want to drive all the way out here, basically bringing the custom service to you. And we can custom cut to your prefrence.
Their signage says they process wild game and they will do custom cuts and packaging. So I am pretty sure they can cover all you're asking for as far as the butchering goes. Not a clue if they'll slaughter it for you as well. The way the signs and the drop off area looked, they might take a carcass but it didn't look like they had holding pens for live animals.
I don't think so, but you'd have to call and ask because they customize almost anything you need. 😊

I just called them (7/2021) & they said that they carry their organ meat in their freezer.
I've never had them not return a phone call. Did you leave a clear articulate message with your phone number? If they haven't called you back it's probably because they're swamped. The staff is extremely nice and responsive.
Yes. We offer 1 in., 2 in. and 4 in. dog bones. These are in our sales floor freezer.

Pretty sure. Not sure what the fee is though. I live in Forest Grove and I've seen the team out in Banks before. Again, probably a fee associated with that but...
They do carry lamb and are a custom meat market. The quality of the product is outstanding. Call ahead and no doubt they can help you.
I know they process game, like venison and elk, they can probably take care of the fowl.
Its a butcher shop. You can buy anything you want there, even jalapeno cheddar cheese salami.
We were told today that they lost their supplier and are trying to find a new one however they do still have elk chili
