went into this place originally for surfboard repair. met the guys and talked shop for a while. saw some really killer looking boards that where there for customers to pick up. saw a long board that caught my attention and decided it was time for new sled. I had a great experience with these guys when they repaired a really mangled longboard of mine so and after seeing the new boards they are building and putting out I was confident to give them a go! I did a classic 10 footer built for nose riding with some resin work and gloss polish. The board came out beautiful and I couldn't be happier.

Great work and great service. I brought in a SUP that had a massive delimitation. The guys at ding dudes fixed the board and had it back to me in 2 weeks. I've been surfing on it for 3 months now and the repair is still perfect. I waited to write this review because I wanted to see if the repair actually lasted, not just looked good when I picked it up. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with the work these guys did. The job was $250.00 and saved me from having to shell out $1000 on a new SUP. These guys are the most professional surfboard repair guys I've ever come across. Totally recommended!

picked up a custom board from Carrozza. I discovered these guys when I brought a board in for some ding repair. Chris the shaper is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, I'm glad I listened to him about the board. He turned me on to his "stub heater" model and I absolutely love it. Super loose and easy to surf. Catches waves great, easy to turn. Just an all around super loose fun round tail board, easily one of the most magic shapes I've ever surfed!

This is a review for work that was done a couple months ago. I'm just getting around to telling the world about the magic that happens at Ding Dudes repair shop. I brought in a a board that I thought was ready for the trash heap. My wife had a strap break on top of our car while driving 90 miles an hour down the freeway, the board buckled really badly at the spot where the other strap was in the back. A friend of mine recommended that I at least bring it by the ding dudes to see what could be done. I paid close to $1500 for the sup when it was brand new and I was hoping that I could salvage it and not have to drop another $1500 o a new SUP. The job took a couple weeks but I was really, really surprised at how good it looked when it was returned to me. There was a noticeable repair area but it was perfectly glassed and sanded and the paint finish was very nice. The guy I spoke with , Chris, told me up front he could salvage it, but there would be a pretty noticeable repair area, I didnt really know what this meant, but when I picked the board up I was super stoked on the work. They even sourced out some bamboo laminate and where able to cover up the area where all the bamboo splintered and had to be cut out of the board. As far as "surfboard repair" goes, I'd say these guys are the best around for sure. I've had experiences with other places that took weeks, up to months to do my repair work on boards for me. These guys seem to have found themselves a nice niche and are putting out great work. If quality work in a timely fashion is your thing, this is your spot!

What is the cost of a slightly damaged board

I'd have to see the the damage to be able to provide an accurate price quote. There are many factors that go into repair costs such as 1) is the board poly or eps 2) does the board need a sanded or gloss finish 3) is the repair a cut and fill or just a sand and glass. If you want to send me some photos I could give you a ballpark estimate.

How would you feel about doing me an Aipa style stinger with single box?
