Great experience for most part. Only problem was that case workers kept getting switched or they kept quitting and got stuck with a horrible rapid rehousing case worker. They also decided to drop us when I was in the hospital with a labor scare but decided to extend us for a few days. I left the door of Hope program due to stress which somehow affected or matching with the housing commission rapid housing. Which makes no sense to me. So my family and I are struggling once again.

This place is a life savor. This place is a wonderful place for women and children in need. The facility itself is beautiful, safe and feels like home. I am forever grateful for everyone involved with Door of hope. God bless everyone that helped me get into here aswell.

What a fabulous place! It allows homeless woman and their children to have a home and helps them get back on there feet. With the announcement of the Rady gift of $50 Million the Salvation Army will be able to house whole families as well as men and woman. Cheers

Certain programs do. You’d have to check with the programs director.
Yes, right now they have a program that will help pay your first and last month rent, and i think will pay deposit but you have to qualify.
Yes. To what sort of donations are you referring?
RandallI'm sorry you're going through that. I have learned first-hand that they don't do any background check on the women and just take their word for it. I have a police report showing that my son's mother forced away into my home trying to take my son and because she couldn't find him she broke his bike. Door of Hope listen to her version of the story where I hit her and kick her out of my house (the police report shows that I didn't touch her and that we haven't lived together in years). She lives comfortably at door of Hope and doesn't have to share her address.
Three days? Worth the wait if you want to stay clean and work it.
Call the office there they can help or give you referrels
Thanks! God is good we've been in a place now since march 2018.
