Not a fancy place but nice and gets good business. We got brunch. Omelet, potatoes, bacon, and biscuits were all very good. We especially liked the biscuits. My husband's pancake was not good; it was thick and a weird crumbly texture. Ironically, a few hours later we had to return to pick up our teenage son and he also had the pancakes and they were entirely different; they were thinner and my son said they were very good. The rum drink my husband ordered had nearly no rum in it. My "bottomless" mimosa was very good!

Our group stopped by here after a long hike through Caesars Head to refuel and we will be adding it to our list of places to go back to. They have outdoor seating that is dog friendly and very well shaded for those hot days. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and the food was all so delicious!

We enjoyed a date night out to Shortfields in TR tonight and had a wonderful experience!! The food was delicious and the strawberry cake was mouthwatering!! Happy hour was an unexpected bonus for us! Pictured: Carolina Mountain Trout with asparagus and mashed taters. 🤤

Had dinner there this evening. Our server was Sam. He was terrific! And makes a great sangria. The restaurant is nice & clean and our food came out quickly. Everything was very good. My chicken cordon blue was nice & crunchy on the outside & cooked properly. Looking forward to our next visit.
