We stayed in room 664. My room was significantly worse than other rooms my family stayed in and we paid the same price. Our entire unit was extremely old and appeared as nothing had been updated in decades. The bed hurt to lay on and sloped slightly downward so my head was below my feet when I laid down. The pillow I was provided was paper thin and had to be folded several times and scrunched up to use it at all. When I paid $1k for 3 nights I expected to have a comfortable place to sleep. I believe the units are individually owned, so if you are staying at Gearhart By The Sea make sure you get an updated unit as they cost the same. Avoid room 664!

The rooms were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were nice and firm. We were high enough in the building that the view was good. The chairs on the deck were OK, but could be more comfortable. I like sitting on the deck and dozing in the afternoon. The chairs that were there did not work well for this. I know it's a small thing, but wanted to share my idea with the owners.

While all units are individually owned, we lucked out with unit 30. Fantastic views, well kept grounds and a nice swimming pool. In addition, our unit was well stocked with a variety of linens, blankets and board games - how can you not have a comfortable stay! For a tip, while all properties are posted on both VRBO and Airbnb, we saved quite a bit booking directly with their front office. Shout out for the restaurant on the property if you didn’t feel like driving out to Seaside or Cannon beach.

Our unit was dated but we'll maintained. Whole property clean and we'll maintained. Great view from unit. Nice access to restaurant across street band close to beach!
