I’ve been here twice recently for other peoples weddings..the female isn’t very family friendly. The ceremony isn’t very personal either, never said their names nor pronounced them husband and wife. It’s low cost and you get what you pay for I suppose.

The decor was very nice and if you want to take pictures they will turn out really nice. The gentleman performing the ceremony is pretty nice but can get long winded. Maybe he could give it a little more romantic and persoal touch as in his wording ( just a suggestion).Over all a really nice place to be married

This Chapel provides three settings for a small gathering. It is intimate, friendly, and Christian religious based. It was extremely well priced. Extras if you want and if not they don't pressure you. I had nothing negative occur. In fact they switched our schedules with someone who was early because we forgot our license since the other party was happy to do so! No fuss. (And bless you unknown bride it was your 💡!)

Niece got married there. Kids forgot their Wedding Certificate an hour away. Hitching Post was kind enough to let them reschedule 3 hours later.

Hi Chelsea, We don' t have our own outdoor location, tho we do some ceremonies right in front of our building. Limited space for guests. However, we do go to other locations in the community. Yes, the Hitching Post has been in the Coeur d' Alene area for 101 years. At one time they were in a White building, looking like a small house. We have photos on our website. www.hitchingpostweddings.com.
You don't have to, but I definitely would. You don't want to have to wait around a long time. We made ours a week ahead, but the people are very accommodating and do their best to work with you.
We can accommodate 15 guests in the main chapel. That is besides the bride, groom and wedding party. Up to 3 attendants on each side plus flower girl and ring bearer

If you are needing an additional copy of your Idaho marriage license. You will need to go into the County recorders office where you purchased your marriage license with photo Id. Or contact Boise Department of records/marriage licenses, etc.

I scheduled a date about three months ahead just to be safe. Had my pick of a time slot instead of taking what was left. It allowed me to schedule other things after the ceremony and make a nice itinerary for our special day.

Good Question. We've traced it back to 100 years. Celebrated last Sept. 100 and this year will be 101. Not sure of a particular month.
