First time back in years. They have new kiosks so you can order quickly and without confusion. Restaurant is clean and there is plenty of seating. Staff was super friendly and really made my experience. Def recommend signing up for their club to get special discounts and coupons. I'll be back!

Second time to a Steak and Shake since we have none where we live. Gotta say the quality of the food and service was the same. The food was delicious as were the shakes and the other items were ordered. Not a big shoe string French fry fan, wish they still had the steak fries we were told they used to have. The service was very good and the prices reasonable considering how everything has gone up. Wish we had steak and shake in our neck of the woods.

Haven't been here since pre covid. Remembered the burgers fondly so took a trip with the family. Get there and a few changes have taken place. No more waiters, all orders are done via a kiosk and food is placed at a window for pick up. Not a big deal but lost some of the charm. My son really wants some chicken fingers, they stopped serving chicken since 2 months ago. Settle for a hot dog off the kids menu. Order an oreo milkshake and it's just ok. 25 minutes since I placed my order I still don't see anything coming so i ask if it'll be much longer. Gentleman at the window says "yeah I don't know why you have a shake but no food yet, lemme go see". Meal comes out a minute later. Food is cold, was clearly sitting somewhere forgotten. My meal came with a regular sized fries and I ordered some large fries for my kid, everything's the same size. Bring it up to the gentleman and he apologizes and brings out a proper large fries which were nice and hot but the rest of my food is cold and at this point I am just disappointed with the experience. I ask for a to go box cause I just want to get out of there. I get a box and ask if I could get a bag too. Get told "No, those are only for to go orders". I glance at the mountain of bags and shrug. I'm not even shocked at this point and head out. Safe to say the quality has taken a nose dive and I wont be returning.

A little different now that they’ve switched to autonomous touch screen ordering and a slightly slimmed down menu, but still tasty! They seem to have streamlined the menu (no more mushrooms or Swiss cheese) but kept a lot of the favorites. They still have single or double steak burgers with toppings like American cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and pickle. They also had the special garlic steak burger which was delicious. There aren’t the sauces and seasonings on the tables anymore, but they still have ketchup available. The shake menu is still extensive which is great! The food came out quickly and was well prepared. I do miss some of the old flavors they had but I understand restaurants need to change to stay afloat. It’s clean and welcoming and the self-ordering makes things much faster.

The steak burger is my favorite you should try it it's delicious
They make everything fresh, that's why the drive thru is so long a wait. That's also why I never go through drive thru
