Frustrations can only be excused by COVID for so long... Of the last 5 times I went to buy something at Home Depot, I checked to see if it was in stock. It claimed it was. Drove 30 miles to get the item and it was NOT in stock. In fact, by their system, it was multiple items in stock with more in the holding area. I understand its not the employee's fault and would never say that. The staff there are ALWAYS friendly and very helpful with what they have, always. I recently ordered an item online ( after getting home from said store after was NOT in LIMITED STOCK). Online it said,"Get it on July 31st". I ordered it, it then said shipping would be between Aug 2nd to Aug 5th. No other shipping options offered. So, I cancelled the order and it said once again July 31st! SURE ENOUGH, I ordered it, they now say Aug. 5th and there is tracking but it hasn't even been shipped yet (label created... woo hoo!). Want to wager if its going to make it on the 5th of August? Great employees, but the system is fatally flawed. Very frustrating to work with their system anymore. Looking for other places. May cost more but when I spend 4 gallons of gas to come get an item you say is there? It better be there.

I use home depot quite a bit. Recently they jave been rather unorganized. I understand spring time store changes however this is more of just leaving huge pallets of items everywhere... not just put there for restock or anything... full huge pallets all over the place in the way for weeks.. like i said i go in quite a bit... it just seems they lack severely logistically. Wouldnt really care if it wasnt constantly a problem trying to get to items. Other than that the employees are usually very polite and helpful. Yes i have run into issues as anyone would however they are always taken care of rather well. The one caviot being when haveing items delivered... make sure the truck stays until you check your items. If they leave you will have to wait about a week or so to have them pick it back up and once they drop it back and have it re-inventoried then they can process your return and order the correct item and you can have it delivered in about another week.

Really, order it online , no one has toilet paper unless your there at 5am..
The manager of the store requires masking of all employees including management. The MANAGER REFUSES TO WEAR HIS MASK OVER HIS MOUTH OR NOSE. HE PREFERS TO WEAR HIS MASK ON HIS CHIN. Wear your mask whenever you enter this establishment. The Waterville, Maine location NEVER FOLLOWED ANY of the Covid protocols set by the CDC, (we had Covid here in 2019) or our own state.
