This place uses an online check in process that gives you an estimated time for your turn. I agree that I cut it close because I had to go back home and get a credit card in case they didn't take Google pay. But I was still there by the time the person was checking out ahead of me and they still pulled in the person that was number two in line even though I was clearly listed in the number one slot and I was there on time for my appointment. It is a beautiful summer evening in Maine and I was enjoying waiting outside

If you hate the fuss of salons and the awful neck pain from their shampoo basins and just want your hair cut in 15-20 minutes, this is the place to go. I didn't have to wait at all, though that was just good timing as a handful of people came in after me. The haircut was pretty good, and she did exactly what I wanted, though I did even it out a bit at home. Avoid going when the receptionist is at lunch lest your stylist need to keep stepping away to sign customers in. But even with all that, I'd recommend it.

Walked in, no appointment and I got right in. The stylist was super friendly. She asked me what I wanted done, I have her some guidelines but told her to do what she thought would look best. She ended up taking about 3 inches off, layered my hair, and gave me bangs that could be either side swept or styled in the middle with a round brush. I asked her about some higher end shampoo and conditioner and she directed me to the counter where it was displayed and she helped me pick it the kind that would work best for my hair. I love how my hair came out and can't wait to try the new shampoo and conditioner. Everything was super quick, relaxing, and affordable. I will definitely be going back.

This was my first visit, and definitely not my last. I was a walk-in and they were very accommodating. I had had a good cut and wanted to keep the look. Great Clips did a perfect job ... and the VERY low price was just as perfect.
