Meraki In The Grove

I have been to Meraki before and usually had great experiences, but last night surprised me. We ordered the lamb skewer platter with a Medium temperature. The lamb is served in a giant metal skewer and to eat it, you have to slide the lamb pieces off. As soon as we cut and bite into the first piece of lamb we notice that it is cooked over well-done Temperature making it completely dry and hard. We bring it to the attention of our server and she tells us that for her to do anything for us we would have had to tell her while the lamb pieces were still in the big metal skewer, but since they weren’t she couldn’t do anything. There is no way to cut or taste the meat without sliding it off the skewer, so this was extremely surprising. We eventually took the pieces of lamb home and ate the other dishes we ordered. Very poor attention to the customer and customer service.
