Nuevo Vallarta Authentic Mexican Food

This is some of our favorite Mexican since moving to Florida! Very low-key, located at the front of an old extended stay motel. But some of the best restaurants are in the last place that you would expect! We’ve only been a handful of times in the past couple of months, but our waitress Blanca already knew what we wanted to drink when we sat down! Better than the service at any of the busier chain restaurants in St. Pete or tourist traps in Clearwater! Blanca is an asset to this restaurant, it’s always a pleasure to be served by someone who takes the time to get to know their patrons! I’d love to see them grow and franchise, but maybe that is what makes Nuevo Vallarta a special place! The food is a great value for the price! I highly recommend Nuevo Vallarta!

This place is off the hook great! Read review about prices being a little high. I understand that but at this time I would rather get top notch food rather than a watered down version. Was in restaurant business most of my life this is great food and you will enjoy! If price is issue try Taco Bell they are low cost eating,not for me!

Fraudulent. If your chicken breast is bought from a local market, then you must list the item as mkt price. I understand charging 3.50 on top of fajitas for nine tortillas instead of three. I understand charging 3.00 for a refill on chips. Charging 9.50 for a margarita priced at 8.25 is illegal. You can tell anyone you want that your chicken fajitas are market price at 15.50 but unless you appropriate that price on the menu, it is considered fraudulent. Food tasted great, so it is a shame that this happened. Thank you! I will not come again. It likely will not help, however, I reported this business to the Better Business Bureau. Fish Man

I was not expecting much when I pulled into the parking lot because the restaurant is collocated in an older style motel. It was lunchtime and the place was empty and no employees were around. We almost left but it smelled good so we took a seat by the window after we found a waitress. VERY GLAD we stayed. The food was amazing and plentiful. All the varieties of meat were obviously slow-cooked so they melted in my mouth and were well seasoned. We’ll definitely be back.
