Had a delicious baklava here today. Very fresh and I can't stop thinking about it. I'm knocking 1 star off because it was a bit pricey and the staff acted completely miserable. Not sure why, but from the comments I've seen it looks like a common issue there.

Hubby and I stopped by for some quick coffee to go. The place was so quaint and happy, we decided to sit down and eat there. We got a lemon cake that was absolutely delicious and their Greek coffees a little sweetened. Some of the best espresso I’ve ever had!

I have not had such a terrible customer service experience in a long time like I had it at this place. When I got to the bakery there was only a couple in front of me ordering, I was next in line to be served. People kept coming into the bakery. The two girls that worked there kept asking “how can I help you” everyone else except me. I kept saying hey I am next. They completely ignored me, finally a customer said yes she is next. I was getting really upset at that point. It sure felt like discrimination to me. Coincidentally I was the only non-white customer at the moment. The prices also are ridiculously high. This happened Sunday February 20, 22 around 12:50 pm. I asked if I can talk to a manager, one of the girls said ‘we don’t have managers here’.

Very good place to grab a sweet treat! Everything we had was fantastic, except the lemon tart. Nobody in the group liked it. But literary we were licking the boxes for everything else!!!

There used to be a spice store on Tarpon Ave that sold a vanilla powder, but that was years ago before vanilla bean became so expensive. Haven't been able to find it since that store closed.
Can you describe the cookie? With powdered sugar is κουραμπιέδες or kourambiedes. With honey it is μελομακάρονα or Greek Honey Macaroons. Just plain Greek butter cookies are κουλουράκια, but they can also be made with only olive oil and no dairy for fasting purposes. 😁 Good luck on your search, either way, this particular place has them all.
