Price is per person, not per car, which can be a bit steep if you’ve got multiple people with you. Bathrooms were clean and I frequently saw an employee walking the beach to collect trash. We arrived around 10 am on a July Sunday and the beach was still fairly quiet. It definitely picked up by noon, but everyone was respectful - no blasting music, no screaming kids. I’d go again!

Level walkways and many tall trees with little or no underbrush. A garden of trees, shade, wide paths, mossy brooks and wide platform bridges. Wheelchair accessible, I think. And it all ends in a huge crescent shaped beach. Public bathrooms and display boards about the wildlife as well as a place to picnic. The shady paths are the best, though.

This is a great place to come by yourself, with a friend, bring your family or take your pet for a walk! *Just, please, pick up after your dog!* There are many walking trails, all clearly marked and labeled for easy access and the novice trail walker. Also, they offer picnic tables, restrooms and beach access during the on-season. Even when the gate is down; people are still welcome to walk the trails at their leisure! Park workers and volunteers kindly ask that you pick up after yourself when using the Park Grounds. Enjoy! *Pictures were taken from Google Images, they are not my photos!*

Nice park, offer shuttle service via the mosquitos. Bring bug spray! Clean, well maintained. We took the Red Oak trail to White Oak and added Beach path.
