Horrible experience for my elderly grandmother. The one day i was unable to take my grandmother to the bank she had to experience horrible customer service from bank tellers who seemed like they didn’t want to be there. After she waited in the line for about 45 minutes she was told she cannot cash her social security check because she does not have a savings account. She had this bank for years , instead of turning her away offer to open up a savings account for her. This type of service is ridiculous , i don’t know if they were understaffed or what but it seems like they were using covid as the excuse for their service! The customer service is unacceptable at times. Treat each customer as they should be treated especially elderly customers who only come in there for one reason . To get their money and get out like everyone else , no one wants to experience the bad attitudes of a bank teller because they experienced a bad day at work ……

One of the worst attitudes for a bank. Told me that I needed to have courtesy for their employees when they were not willing to do their fiduciary responsibility by taking care of their customers. One of the worst banks I’ve ever been in.

This Branch is like a DJFS Office, whats worse is you are at least treated respectfully like a human being at those places. This Branch, is a complete mockery on the banking industry. One of the “Personal Bankers,” I was sent to after requesting a manager; after waiting 9 minutes greeted me by saying “what’s going on bro?” After that interaction I knew Nicholas was not only going to not fix the situation as promised but make it worse. During the holidays no less; Friday evening people standing in line, you expect me to buy “we cannot cash your check because it exceeds $1000.” This was a PNC ISSUED CHECK. Then NICHOLAS proceeds to call my job at 5pm the Friday before Christmas to “verify employment.” After verifying funds, and account information I was then asked very unprofessionally for secondary identification which I promptly provided. After another 5-7 minutes I was called by my first name across the bank floor while facing the opposite direction. Then directed to the teller window and told they WOULD be able to cash the Payroll PNC issued and verified check. HOWEVER what was not communicated was the 2% fee for being a non customer! After wasting the time I decided to walk out and take my check elsewhere. This was extremely embarrassing I was treated like a criminal, and patronized like a fool. I get better customer service from the grocery store. I would not bank with PNC if it was the only FDIC insured bank left. I’m shocked Nicholas G was able to become a Loan Originator, and Personal Banker. Financial institutions are built on relationships. This Bank failed on each and every opportunity to handle this situation the right way. I would be ashamed of myself if this was where I worked.

card isnt a second form of I d , but a vehicle title is? And there fees are outrageous, really $10.00 to cash a check. I ask everyone to boycott any and all PNC banks. And now a title doesn't cut it either, they down right lied to me
