The staff was great, the building is really unique, and the room was really clean. I didn't get to dine there, but the bar staff was really friendly. My only issue was that I was there for a work conference and I'm a Bonvoy member, but I was forced to pay for wifi ($15/day) since I was on a corporate rate. I thought that was pretty cheap and essentially eliminated the improved rate I got for attending the conference and being a member. I'd definitely consider that in my hotel decision next time.

Shortly after I arrived I was placed 2 doors down from an incessant loud barking dog that the owners left in the room for 5-6 hrs that wasn't register and would be there for my entire 2 day stay as a flight attendant. I also was having allergic reaction to the feathered pillows and comforter. Not off to a good start for my 1st stay. I spoke with Seth (assistant GM) mostly along with his incredible team Angela phone back office, Mary & Amber (front desk) who were all kind, understanding, empathetic, caring and compassionate about the situation. Seth went above and beyond to try to accommodate me even though I couldn't change rooms due to the overbooked capacity. Mary and Amber gave me bottled water and a non feathered pillow. Seth was extremely helpful to address my concerns and offer support. Even the outside front door concierges were all eager to give local guidance, hold open doors and greet me with a warm smile. Despite my situation, I felt so cared for and attended to like family. What an amazing team! Much respect and gratitude!

I planned to have my wedding party get ready at this hotel and stay during my wedding weekend. First, my wedding planner had an extremely difficult time contacting and getting consistent communication from the staff for months. Once my wedding block was finally arranged, she was told that I was unable to reserve a suite more than 30 days in advance, and that no one is able to reserve a suite that far in advance. So, we started arranging all my vendors and my wedding party to treat the hotel as home base. A few months before my wedding, I started to get nervous about not being able to secure a suite in advance. I called asking to see if they could arrange for me to book a suite earlier given the circumstances. Over the course of the week, I spoke with a handful of people and no one seemed to know why I could not book. Finally, a got a hold of an employee who confirmed that all the suites were booked by other events that weekend, and I would not have a suite available. Though this employee was nice and obviously ended up being very helpful, the entire experience was astonishing. I had to completely change my plans and scramble to find an alternative in the area with remaining availability for the weekend. Extremely disgusted by the whole experience, and will never recommend visitors to stay at this hotel.

We had our wedding at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower. The service was perfect. The Event Manager Cal was with us in every step of the way and answered every request we had. It had a taste of luxury, precision and high care for details. All of our guests were super impressed by the reception hall and were taken care of by the staff. Food was absolutely tasty. Rooms were very nice, we were able to get the bridal suite on a high floor and we enjoyed every bit of it. We would very much recommend staying there and hosting your wedding there!

20, if I recall correctly. They actually have the 13th floor labeled as the 14th and continue the numbering from there.

Check with Mary at check _in and voice your complaint, if she cannot satisfy you then I am sure that she can advise you who in upper management should be able to resolve this situation to your satifaction. Due to construction check in and out is now located on the 4th floor!!!
